Pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th class spent a most enjoyable day at Cork City Gaol and Zip It, Farran Wood.

Pupils from 5th class who have been helping the Tidy Towns with litter picking.

We have noticed there are a huge amount of cigarette butts left outside our school and St. Joseph’s Infant School.

We are asking all adults to please put you butts in the bin.

The last term in school is often one of the busiest in relation to  events and activities.

It is also the term when standardized testing takes place. Test will be administered between the 15th May and the 2nd June.

Many thanks to Dick’s SuperValu who ran an Easter colouring competition. Our 3rd class pupils and their teacher were delighted wit their prize.

Many of our pupils have been working hard on their reading, with our “Accelerated Reading” programme we can tally the number of books and words read by the pupils.

The following are pupils who won prizes for an art competition to design a cover for a cookbook and to create a moneybox using a plastic bottle. Congratulations and well done to everyone who made such a great effort.
