ICT Facilities
2010 was an exciting year for us at St. Anne’s. Seven state-of-the-art interactive projectors have been installed and broadband access is also available in all classrooms. This makes learning much more enjoyable.
This would not have been possible without the generous support of children, parents and the local community who fundraised for the equipment.
2013 saw the arrival of 30 laptops and a trolley for storage and charging.
WIFI has also been installed.
2016 saw the arrival of 30 more laptops for pupils use.
Accelerated Reader
In 2013 the school invested in a programme called “Accelerated Reader”. This programme assess the children’s reading and comprehension. It also records the books read by the children and allows them to reach goals and targets. It has greatly enhanced the school’s literacy plan along with fostering a greater love for reading, providing opportunities for children and their parents to read for purpose and has improved children’s reading and comprehension scores.
Plans for the Future
Our School extension has recently been completed. The new classroom and the extension to another classroom has provided us with great space. The entrance is now bright, airy and welcoming.
